BlitzWriters.com collects only the data needed to ghostwrite and deliver your book, process payments, and keep in touch. You’ll always know what we collect, why we need it, and how to exercise your rights to access, delete, or opt out. We follow U.S. Federal Trade Commission security guidance, comply with the EU’s GDPR and California’s CCPA, and never sell your personal information.

| EU/EEA (GDPR) | Restrict processing; lodge complaint with your local Data Protection Authority |
| California (CCPA/CPRA) | Know, delete, correct, opt-out of “sale”/“share”, limit use of “sensitive” data |

Contact us at privacy@BlitzWriters.com to use any of these rights; identity verification may be required.
7. Data Retention
We keep manuscript files and transcripts for up to three years after project completion—long enough to handle revisions and royalty questions—then archive or securely delete them. Billing records are retained for seven years to satisfy tax law.
8. Security
We follow FTC small-business security guidance—encrypt data in transit (TLS 1.2+), restrict internal access, and train staff to spot phishing. Despite safeguards, no system is ever 100 % secure; please keep this in mind when sharing sensitive materials.
9. International Transfers
If you are outside the U.S., your information may be processed here. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for EU transfers.

Our site may link to publishing platforms or writing tools we do not control. Their privacy practices apply to any data you submit off-site.
12. Changes to This Policy
We will post material changes here and, if they are significant, notify you by e-mail or site banner at least 14 days before they take effect.
